Biggest and most shockingly unskilled n00b...EVER

I've played DDR a grand total of....four times in my life and I've developed this strange fascination with it. I'm "THIS" close to buying the home version, but untill then FFR should keep my sick DDR obsessive side sated for now.

But on too my noobishness....I'm blown away....I mean really just...blown away. I can manage to do the easy songs, not well, but I can get through them. Even some of the standard ones, but ain't pretty! Anyone who can play the harder ones...has an inhuman level of perception and should be given some form of compensation!
Or maybe I'm just a TOTAL /|/00|3!!!!! Any tips?

=O A noob that spells correctly. ^.^ Oh Happy Day. Anyways, just do what Flypie said. Stepmania will help alot. Go here for the original DDR sims. You have to register, and I think you need BitTorrent.

      Enjoy your stay.

Kano, I remember being so new that all the songs seemed very hard and pretty much impossible. But really, it comes with practice. The more you play, the better you get. You find that the only things that are "impossible" are those which are too fast for your keyboard to recognize. I'm not at that point yet, but I know that if I practice enough, I will be.

So basically, it is a GREAT thing to impress friends with, after even a month or two of playing. Somebody who has never seen the game before will think you're ridiculously good, when you're not even nearing average.

My advice to you: just keep playing. Stepmania helps, but FFR is still good. Eventually you'll notice a huge difference. Ahhh I remember when Stay With Me was extremely difficult, and V2 was impossible. Now they're both simple as pie.
C is for Charisma, it's why people think I'm great! I make my friends all laugh and smile and never want to hate!

Yeah that was good spelling, but shouldn't it be "on TO my noobishness"? Maybe i'm wrong, no one else seems to have picked up on it. Meh, english is my second language so don't mind me.

And Kano, you would quickly get better at the game. You seem to be enjoying it and that's the main thing. Stepmania's also a good supplement.

                Have fun on FFR.
