Arrows: How do they work?

I have DWI and i press the arrows when they reach the 4 main arows as so in DDR. But i try in this and it says missed and my score goes into the negatives. I playy DDR alot and i cant seem to figure aout why this isnt working......

....Make sure you hit the arrows corresponding with the arrow at the top? I don't know... it seems pretty basic to everybody else.

Did you click off the screen? If so, click on the FFR screen. It should work...
