Noob question.

I dont consiter myself much of a n00b. I've been playing Stepmania for a long tima and I'm quite good, but I decided to try this. I have one question. Is there a way to put it on 1.5x or 2x scroll speed? I see sttings, and i click it, but alot of them are greyed out. Is there a way to do this? Or am I just stupied?Thanks

They are currently not available, they havn't been coded yet.

The next major version is supposed to have them, you just have to wait a bit.

HEY i got another n00bish question i was wondering how to upload an avatar from your computer? i cant seem to find it in "my account" options

You go into "Profile"...that is located at the top of your screen. Then at the bottom are the avatar options...you can upload it from your computer there.

In stepmania you hit enter before a song to get the options. There are two pages of options, after you get through one, you'll automatically be taken to the second page before the game begins. Even though that was your question, I assume you were talking about Flash Flash Revolution, the game here, well the settings arent out yet as you cannot rush people.
