i usually play with one hand but i want to be able to do some of the harder songs. could some of you people that use two hands tell me your finger positions.

Yea, I play with one hand,too...why don't you go check out the finger positions thread in the Stepmania board...you have to scroll down a bit though to see it...Its called something like what keys do you use and what fingers... -

There's also a thread called something like "finger placement" in the general FFR talk forum. It covers the same topic and something like 10 different finger positions were mentioned in there last time I looked.
Essentially retired now, but still ranked on the list of FFR's Top One Handers.
