Im tired of being called a n00b. Im gonna be called a n00b when ive been here for awile just because i suck. Im makin a true revolution.Sign a screen name for FFR or anything here and maybe someone will take this seriously and forbid the word n00b in certain places on the site. (this is kinda a joke but if u take it seriously be free to sign)

No, there's no need for that. Though personally, I wish they'd stick with "newbie". I guess "newb" would be OK, too. But the "n00b" with that l33t chat speak spelling often has a negative connotation, at least at a number of other boards I read so I don't really like it. Apparently that's not true here, but still, when you get used to a particular meaning, it's kind of hard to break that habit.

Yeah, I just migrated over here from gaiaonline.com (surely someone on here knows what that is), and there, the word n00b means stupid newbie. Since over there, I'm one of the "n00b-flamers," it's kind of hard for me to not feel insulted when I'm called a n00b.
