    Damn 8 Years Ago I Joined...

    So hi all! My names minble! Just decided after 7.75 yrs of being a member I should make an intro hah. I started playing FFR when I was 9 years old and I'm 17 now.. Before I even found FFR I was on a search for a great rhythm game (8 yr old on Newgrounds lel) but I could never find anything! I honestly can't remember how I even found this awesome game and community but I did and I've created some great memories here. I also run a channel on twitch! I stream some mobile games and obviously FFR. But through my time being here I think the worst thing that I thought had happen when FFR just suddenly died without an explanation (2009!?!?). With a surprising comeback later on I wanted to enjoy this game to the fullest and improve a lot too. It sucks to see a lot of people not active on here anymore because of what happened when FFR died. I also love seeing new players on here and it just reminds me of when I first joined.. You'll mostly see me trying to enter most of the tournaments and I am on multiplayer a lot! Also if you guys wanna check me out on twitch my channel is TheoriesCR. I hope to play against most of you and see most of you around!

      You can think of this site like a big family where everyone knows each others. I think it's part of what gives it it's charm. People come and go regardless of what happens to the site. What's important is that the site is still running fine and that there's a decent amount of activity. I've been on this site since 11 years, I'm still having fun playing the game and checking out what's going on etc. hopefully it's the same for you.

                          BTW ffr dying wasn't what "killed" it so to speak.

                          FFR is honestly going to another peak now imo, in terms of player activity.

                          I've looked at ALOT of archived posts, and there's a ton of factors... Removal of resonance engine.. I think the main reason is that it's honestly just a different generation/a different kind of society.. In its actual peak, I think the highest I've seen is 3k active players playing at a time, which is insane

                          One of the most popular thing on FFR was the band widgets, man I've seen news posts like "Five Finger Death Punch" with literally hundreds of comments.. Nowadays thought, things don't work like that (it was the MySpace generation)

                          I think FFR gotta get with the times, figure out what people are interested in nowadays.. We don't have the benefit of things like video chat, profile chat etc because the time where people cared about this stuff has passed.

                          I'm super happy you are here playing, and I love that you want to support the cause of making FFR big.. Remember, every time we talk about the game, play it, and mention it, it's supporting the cause.
