I suck - Need some tip

hi guys, i am new and i need help with ffr.

i've actually been playing for about a year...on and off...like about 1000 games total played. and i still suck.

i AM musically talented, i am in a band/etc: play the drums (about 4 years, and i'm pretty good). i am an audiophile...love the beats, and i just can't seem to follow them.

i swear, i push the keys...and i see "MISS" on the screen. also...some steps are just hard to follow! like on some, it will be a lead riff, that doesn't have a specific...'beat' to it, and it's really hard, and i can't follow it.


can you guys give me some tips? just some friendly pointers?

I have a great sense of tempo [5 years of band, 2 of drumline] and some of the songs just simply dont line up with the arrows. But if it is Terrible, are you running on a slow dial-up? Because I've played ffr on a slow dial-up and it was so off it was impossible. But if it is only certain songs, I find it helpful to turn off the sound, and keep your own tempo WITH the arrows. But before I can help you more, tell me whether you have slow modem, its only some songs, or neither.

In the General Talk forum there is a sticky towards the top about Operating your signature, go read that post.

The best thing i can say for you is practice. And if you are SURE the song is offbeat [there are some] then turn off the sound... it helps

yea the secret arrows are non existent...
if u can get them u r extremely lucky person and u mash alot :/


btw FFR lags i reccomend you put the quality down to low cuz it helps alot
to put the quality down theres a lil circle at the top left of the FFR game jus click it till all the graphics looks nasty and distorted... play FFR and the arrows should be more onbeat.
