Re: time to show myself
...Originally posted by hi19hi19Also why is "summon" in quotation marks as usually that signifies an alternate meaning like for example last night I "visited" your mother but it really means last night I "fucked her in the ass" so exactly what is the subtext of "summon" because I am not sure I am comfortable with the implications
Originally posted by m0deim usually the "nice guy" around these parts.. but this is bad, and you should feel bad. i would rather dip my balls in honey and hover them over a red ant hill than to ever hear such butchered crap.Comment

Re: time to show myself
The Raping DragonYou mean apart from those other times you've introduced yourself?
Or that one time you decided to quit, before you introduced yourself, but then didn't quit because you needed to go introduce yourself.
Might be best to stop making these superfluous threads. The best way for you to introduce yourself is to go post in threads that you're interested in. That way people can see what things you like and you'll end up getting into better conversations.
Also, you need to remember that this is not a live conversation, you're sitting by yourself at a computer. There should be no such thing as shyness when you are, to all intents and purposes, a blank slate. If you don't like what someone says, ignore the thread or post and they'll go away. You have time to think before posting and can edit it if you don't like it so use that to say what you want to say.
Adding things like 'um' just looks silly, it's like you're trying to say 'hey I'm shy, look how shy I am, this conveys my shyness,' and it makes you look like you're simply attention-seeking rather than genuinely trying to become part of the community.

Re: time to show myself
Hi Nega Mater
Think I've seen you a while back in FFR Multiplayer. Try meeting people through their profile (send them personal messages, comment on their page) and most of the time you can get a reply, You can also add friends right there too.
You can meet people lively in profile chat and FFR Multiplayer. (some people in those might be away from keyboard or are browsing other things at the time) The replies will be nicer than in the forums overall as long as your friendly and it's a better way of making friends.Comment
