Hi, I'm new to this game and I'm just wondering which one is more important, to get AAA's on maps or just FC's? Which one improves me quicker? I've played as many FC's as possible but I only have like 9 AAA's or something.

FCs to get better, AAAs to make sure you're doing everything right. They're both important. If you want to get faster and better in general, FCs are better as long as you don't mash to get them. -

They are both important, AAA's will help your accuracy and help you get better but FC's will also help you get better. Like, if youre playing a song 5 difficulties above what you can aaa just go for the fc, in time you will be pro
But no mashing, if you cant do a certain part its best to just miss, but try to hit it the best you can, over time doing that WILL improve you ALOT better than just mashing stuff you cant do and after awhile you will no longer miss. mashing=badThee Burstinator

I think when you are starting out, it is much more important to focus on FC's.
It's pretty essential to get the muscle memory down first. Once you no longer have to think about it (i.e. when FC's are natural), then you can focus on improving the accuracy for the AAA's.Comment

Get FC's first for building pattern reading abilities & general reading speed, as well as finger stamina. Get AAA's for accuracy & consistency to reinforce those reading abilities.

AAA's are over-rated. A good is called a "good" for a reason. If hitting goods was a bad thing, they would have been called "bad" instead of "good". If you're playing to only hit perfects you might as well relabel the "perfect"/"good"/"average"/"miss" naming system to "average"/"bad"/"terrible"/"cataclysmic". It's like you're being self-deprecating on purpose.
I have 0 AAA's and 407 FC's, including scores like 96-5-0-0 on Air (60) and 57-0-0-0 on Band Dynamics (61). I regret nothing.
