Ok so I am not a D1 newbie :s but like I am still a d2 and right now I play 40-50 diff....but I can't seem to make the push to 60 diff yet becuase of the BPM is to fast for me to read, and jumpstream and one handed trill's are my bane of existance...any help with making that push to 60?

At around that difficulty I started knocking off as many skill tokens as I could.
AAA a few really easy songs to gain consistency.
Mash some difficulty 70+ songs to gain strength
Go for 50% FC, 1000 Avg rank tokens

Mashing causes bad habits in my opinion. I would just play songs out of your comfort zone. Identify your weaknesses and work on them.

        oh....i can mash...... http://i.imgur.com/vud581e.png xD

But my weaknesses are jumpstream / trills / running man :s which there isn't a whole lotta songs i can practice just that (besides brain dot wave, for easy jumpstream)

anything outta my comfort zone everything is just jumpstream or handstream :s

Play with things like play style, finger location (key bindings), speedmods, etc.

I see you're using a higher speedmod which is good. Make sure you can actually interpret patterns at that speed though. If things seem jumbled try speeding it up. You won't be able to keep up with your fingers at first but it's important that you're able to make out patterns. If you can't see what the jumble of arrows is, you can't hit it very well.

I know people say don't do harder songs and definitely don't mash, and I agree wholeheartedly with the don't mash portion. Where I don't totally agree is on the difficulty range that you should play. If you want to see the fastest improvement (typically speaking) you'll want to do things that push you. Play songs that you really struggle on, but do not mash. Force yourself to interpret the patterns and make your best effort to actually hit them properly. It will seem like a lost cause but as you come back down from the songs you're barely able to read you'll start to find easier songs coming a lot simpler.
