Why would someone they choose that acronym on purpose though? I don't think it would be because of immaturity since they were giving out credits and even money, plus the hosts were probably adults. Do you think they were trying to lure the immature people out?

Nope. A million ended up being way too many posts.

There is / was a 10 seconds timer between posts.

10 seconds * 1,000,000 = 115.7 days in raw time.

Could maybe divide this by 10 or 15 to get 7 solid days of posting, but nobody is posting 24/7 every 10 seconds.

PMS can also stand for pulse/motor/sensory to assess whether or not any nerve damage has been sustained within a limb post trauma. They're trying to switch to PSM due to the easily confused acronym, of course.

PMS was stopped and the threads deleted because 700,000 more posts were enough to make searches and loadtimes noticeably longer.

I don't imagine they'll allow you to re-clog that up since pretty much by definition, all of those posts don't contribute anything.

I'm surprised they allowed people to do the image posting one.

There's less than 3,000,000 posts total on the entire forums. Having a full 25% of posts (by the time it gets to 1M and we're at 4M total) be worthless spam for no reason seems like a bad idea.

I see what you mean, but the administrators could delete the last 200,000 posts as soon as we finish, so it won't affect how the site loads. ^.^
