    hello i'm new and a ddr fan thanks for trying to bring it to the computer. but i have something how do people make songs? if you have an idea or you made a song tell me okay? thanks!

    Hi there and welcome to FFR! Hope you enjoy the stay

    As for how to make songs, it's a pretty complicated process. First you're going to need to learn a bit of music theory if you haven't. The one that I kept coming back to was Varien's, but you should expand from there though, there are LOADS of music theory tutorials on the Internet.

    Next you're going to need a DAW. Digital Audio Workstation is pretty much the place where you're going to work with your musics. There are loads, but I recommend FL Studio or Ableton as a start. You'll need to master them before carrying on in the process.

    From this point on there's still a couple of few things to learn, like EQing or things like audio 101 and song structures, but really, in the end, with enough dedication, it'll be all worth it :P

      Do mean songs as in the actual music or the arrows that go to the music

        Stepping songs is easy to do but a bitch to master. It's all about trial and error.

        My most famous simfile was 12ths in One More Lovely.
