I realize i'm still really a "n00b"...but if posting a challenge in the wrong place makes him reside in noob-ness for a while longer...shouldn't double posting have a negative effect, too?

I think that there's two kinds of n00bs. The first kind is when you first start foruming, and the internet is a scary place full of mean people and anime otaku. The second kind is when you just join different forums.

When are you no longer a n00b? Is there like a message they give you or something. Do you know when, do you have to play at a certain level?

lol that's an odd question but all i can say is after you see that you do really good and start earning a lot of credits at once you'll know you're not a noob

I am definately a newb. I just started on June 2nd, but I have one question. How do you raise your user overall rank?

Score more points and wait for them to update the ranks. The ranks are based on total points so the more you play and the more points you get, the higher your rank should be. If you're new and have a rank of 1 (like I do), it's the default value for currently unranked players; you're not 1st.
