songs randomly cutting out

Hi im back after a short break, tried to post this awhile ago on the forums but it wouldn't go through.

While playing a few of the old songs i remember and some of the new ones i have not played i found that the songs will randomly cut out, sometimes after only missing one or two notes. Is this a new feature that im not finding? Auto fail has zeros in all fields. I'm not playing to get perfects atm im just playing to go through some of the songs and have a little fun and having songs cut out in the middle is not so much fun >_> thanks

What engine are you playing on? And what songs in particular?

The velocity engine and the beta seem to be doing it and its been most of the songs i've played, all in the dance 2 tab. Addict, we will fly, and arabian assassin to start along with many more. It doesnt seem to me to be a problem with the steps but with my connection or running the engine. Currently using google chrome.

ok so i saved a replay of it happening on Addict (Dr. Ozi Monsta r3mix). When it cut out for me it went straight to the after song screen, but in the replay it continued with no notes being hit until i lost.

Go easy on me i have not played in awhile xD

I'm not sure offhand, but perhaps you need to try standalone, that might fix it...

You pretty much just run the game via flash instead of on the internet. It helps with FPS and whatnot if your computer is slow. (I use this all the time)

ok ill give that a try and see if it works, if not i have not had any issues with legacy so i can always just play on that. Thanks for all the help =D

The standalone hasn't cut out yet after going back and playing a few of the songs that were cutting out so it looks like that was the solution to my problem. Thanks again man you have a good one.

i guess its still cutting out. I dont think i was using standalone properly as all i did was click on the link and continue playing in my browser, but ill post this incase this is an unknown issue.

Notice the discrepancies in number of misses between the 2 screens. Both images were from the same play through, one what i saw after losing and one is from the replay.

screenshots are not working for me? Try to re-upload them or something.

And yeah, for standalone you should be playing the game in Flash, and not via chrome.
