You learn in debate classes and in English argumentation essays that you never include the other side of the argument. That's just stupid. Let those that feel that way argue that point, but if you want to make a statement, you have to force your own side and not even really care that there is another side.

My own views on the subject are simple. If the sex that lead to the creation of said baby was consensual (as in, not forced, IE: Rape [and I might add that rape 99.9% of the time does not lead to pregnancy]), then that mother sure as hell better have that kid. Accept responsibilities for your actions. That is my bottom line. If you do not wish to have a child, then you shouldn't be allowed to participate in the action that leads to it.

We do not need anymore humans on this Earth.

That is all I am going to say.

Here is an 8 page argument on the topic of abortion if you want more of my opinion and others: http://flashflashrevolution.com/inde...dafd1a3f872c1b

Abortion is not wrong. What else would we use rusty coat hangers for.

That's true, murder is wrong. Abortion, however, the destroying of cells, is not murder.

Murder is wrong, that's true. However, abortion, is not murder (or so I believe), because you cannot kill (make dead) what has not even lived (or what I believe is living) yet.

I agree fully. Or I would have, until that damn Chardish made me rethink my whole stand on this subject. Only on the facts that it seems a fetus is living. I still disagree about the whole sex stand some people took on it, which is why I just don't know.
Now, I agree for the most part.

i just read the 8 page discussion on abortion. Chardish seems to me to be a misinformed person. Sites that are not for abortion will make up things and call them facts, just so they will get more people to follow.

i would have to disagree with you there. i got outta a speech class last semester in college and one of the major points that was taught was to include points that would be used against your argument, and then prove them wrong. this way members of your audience who initially disagreed with you have nothing to fall back on while your giving your speech added credibility.

In terms of this whole topic, i believe in the current standard of abortion in some areas, where its legal until the end of the first trimester, is alright. you need to set the line somewhere, and i think that that time is as good as any.
