Psychic powers- as in future predictions.

Wow, cool idea for a section. Anyway...

What is your opinion on psychic prediction of the future? As in, how can this sort of thing exist with free will? If predicting the future (which I think is total bullshit, if you care to know) really can happen, then how can we make choices if they've already been made for us (there is a strong link between psychic prediction and divine preordination)?

But be it known, if you know what is in the future, it probably wont happen, as the chain of events leading up to whatever you "saw" would have been distruped.

Well, I think that most all psychics are fake -- although, I do believe some are influenced by that not of our world. And still, there prediction, if is influenced, may be false.
This is going to be cheesy quote, but its some what true (taken from the movie Time Line); "for man to know his future is to bring upon him his own destruction" which I interpreted as, he would know his fate, and if wasn't happy with it would try to change it, making his role in fate not what it should of been... or something... I dunno... xP

But here's a most interesting question -- if you did have the ability to see into the future, would you? and why?

i can guess about the near future and the guess is usually right... not really 'psychic' but its close
im more 'psychotic/paranoid' than i am 'psychic' (maybe thats why i like the song 'paranoia' so much...)
