Ok, things such as scalorships, job applications etc. try to be non-racist by giving minorities an advantage. So now, if a white man and japanese man apply for the same job, with the exact same resume, the japenese man will be chosen first no matter what. Isn't that in itself being racist? They try to be non-racist to keep from being sued, and just flip the stage. (Not that the white man should win, I'm just saying, the same person with small physical differences get unfair advantages, when it should be equal.)

I personally don't care what race someone is. All I care is if they're smart and socially.... 'awesome'.

That's so true. You should hate someone if they're assholes and stuff not because they might be black....green.....yellow....or red for that matter.... :P

true. but its hard, as a white person, to not overgeneralize when you see something that one race of people seem to continually do. hopefully, as our generation gets older, our views will begin to settle in as correct rather than the more outdated and seemingly useless views, and racism will begin to disappear.

I still predict that within 1,000 years there will be no races, due to inter-racial marriage, which is becoming far more common, as it is no longer a social taboo.

Even today there are people who belong to 3 or 4 races.

exactly. but not everyone thinks that way. the older generations were raised during a time where it was acceptable to hate others for how they looked, and unfortunately a lot of those beliefs were passed on to their children. racism will phase out, but not if everyone is continually reminded of it due to either their parents or from organizations that supposedly further a certain race rather than another. i'll try not to get into that, however.

no impossible...if you believe in evolution then every human started as black in africa...as they moved to cooler climate, skin color changed...i think it takes 100000 years to change skin color (except for michael jackson)...anyway the point is our race is becoming more diverse becuse it started out as one race

Theory: the reason why we look so different is a result of two things:

1) A lot smaller population 10,000 years ago.
2) Isolation.

But with new advancments in technology, humans no longer have to adapt to their environment to survive. Thus, inter-racial breeding will eventually led to less races. But that will be a long time away from now, if we dont blow each other up first.
