    Semi-Identical Twins Discovery

Seemingly, there is now a probability of twins being semi-identical. Read up on the news article for more info. But, to me, I feel this is yet another great discovery for mankind. Who knows, there may be actually more twin types, other than identical, fraternal, and semi-identical alone. Discuss, and post your thoughts on the subject.

That's pretty cool. When I was studying genetics in Science a few weeks ago we were talking about twins. It may actually be possible for you to have a twin a different color then you. If one of you parents is white and one is black it may actually be possible for that to happen.

    Example:
"Hey buddy, I'm your twin," says white boy.
    "You ain't my brother biotch!"

yea there can be twins of different colours...the most famous case of that that i kno is that one lady who had sex with a white guy then just a little bit later, had sex with a black guy...so she had twins of different colours

This reminds me of chimera babies.

A black and white couple had a baby, and it's skin tone was split right down the middle of its body - half black and half white. And with two different sets of DNA.

              O.o Mega-weird.

I think it's pretty cool how DNA and stuff can just have all these variations.

                  That.. doesn't... happen... that's not a chimera.

A chimera just has two sets of dna. It's like, uhhhh..... you know how twins can be conjoined? Well imagine if YOU are a conjoined twin. You were supposed to be two people. Kind of. That's the closest I can explain it in plain terms. You are two people. You don't feel any different but you contain two sets of dna. Makes for some really weird outcomes but most of the time they don't even know until they get a few dna tests done.
C is for Charisma, it's why people think I'm great! I make my friends all laugh and smile and never want to hate!

Is it possible that a couple, say the mother is 50% white and %50 black and the father is the same could have One completely white child and One completely black child? Not just appear that way like with ressesive genes, But truely only have been given White genes, or only black genes?

What if the father was %50 asain and %50 white? Their child could still come out completely white right? or a combination of any of the 3 of course...

this is racism as it stereotypes the african-american race and there should be a ban in effect according to the racism rule

                            Wow. Pretty amazing stuff.
There was also a recent case of a mother bearing twins, one was African-American, the other caucasian.
                            Humanity's pretty wicked like that.
Asphyxiated Monophysitism is friends with Lamaism which is short for Mithraism that occasionally sleeps with Orphism who is the incestual twin brother of Pentecostalism.
