That's just really messed up. I live in the USA, where I am given freedom. I find it annoying how people of the country full of freedom tell each other what they cannot believe in. I do believe that is the freakin' reason why we live here, people. No offense to players of other countries, just to other American people.

People like to flame furries in the same way that others like to insult homosexuals or emos. It's really not a big deal. Just don't go around talking about it (in much the way a gay person wouldn't go around saying "I'm gay so..." or "...because I'm gay") and you should be fine.
Anyway, you sign away your rights as soon as you register on this site.

This is how life is on the Internet.
Certain groups of people will be insulted without remorse.
Currently, this site is fairly anti-myspace, furry, and emo, or any combination of those three.
Why? Because there are people out there who are the extreme of their classification and they ruin it for you. We've had countless threads about furries who honestly think they are animals and refuse to listen to logic. Also one about some guy who wanted to marry his made-up furry wife.
So, now you see where we're coming from.Comment

This is different from being stereotyped for your race, gender, sexual preference, ect. because those are things you have no control over.

cynic is a furry but no one gives a shit because he doesn't flaunt it and he's a really cool guy in general and he was an important part of the early days of keyboard StepMania.
