If we're going to establish Critical Thinking as a place for people to discuss ideas, we need a moderator that actually discourages people from being offensive idiots. Far too often, threads in this section turn into vicious flame wars because, apparently, getting your idea across means you have to use name-calling tactics.
There's a difference between disagreeing with someone and telling them their ideas are a "crock of shit."
I haven't seen a moderator active in this part of the board in a very long time, or at least they don't really discourage that kind of behaviour. Maybe we don't need a new CT mod, but we do need the ones assigned the task to do their job. We should promote the area as a place for CIVIL DISCUSSIONS.

Next time Christianity (or any religion or lack of religion for that matter) is attacked on the grounds that the people who worship it are ignorant and nothing is done about it, I literally will never come to FFR again.
