Now it means something. It is an expression of frustration.

And, if someone is just doing asdkjhlaskdfhaklsdjfasdkjhlaskdfhaklsdjfasdkjhlaskdfhaklsdjf over and over, it means that we have an immature person trying to get some attention, or spam the chat.

everything has a consequence and behind every consequence is a reason. people wasn't just dropped on this earth to play out their lives and die. we all have a purpose. nothing is meaningless.

I like to think that something is meaningful when it has a definition or title to it as an object. Mica3gold says that nothing is meaningless, and that is exactly what I believe. Everything that is visible to the eye is defined, at the very least in our language, and these visible objects form the basic structure of meaning. Matter which doesn't exist in definition or theory is what I consider to be meaningless, kind of like an extended butterfly effect. Thus it follows that as the human race progresses and discovers new forms of definitions or theories, more meaning will become opened to reality. Take a look at the Internet: a few decades ago it wasn't even theoretically invented. But the minute that it was planned out, a new form of meaning came to be.

I think meaningless is a relative word and different for every person. Like to someone something is RELATIVELY meaningless but to someone else it is meaningful. For example, if there is a guy and a girl who are friends, the girl wants to go out with the guy but he doesn't know this, he could send her a text message or something with an 'x' at the end and to him it would be relatively meaningless as he would see it as just a friendly end to a text, but to her it could be very meaningful because she sees it as a sign that he has feelings for her.
No one can ultimately define meaningless or meaningful as everyone's opinions are different, like someone said higher up (forgot who), it is back to 'one man's trash, another man's treasure' - A rich man throwing away half a bowl of pasta that he can't finish is meaningless to him but to a poor man on the street that same bowl of pasta is very meaningful as a source of nourishment... Am i manking sense?
Well thats my opinion any way.

You pretty much just stole all the points of my rant and
summed it up... thanks alot :cough cough plagarism cough cough: Anyway, meaningless is obviously nothing before it existed, because in the point of mind, it isn't there. Can you comprehend something that isn't there? Now if you start ranting about schizzs...I know that they are only imagining things. But technically, the mind is creating something... to process information. Therefore, the imagined person is merely the result of information/desires within the mind finding a new way of expressing itself. Also, you said asdfghjkl; is meaningless.. I forget who you are... but they could be practicing typing. Also, this leaves an imprint in the mind... It could be code... It can be ANYTHING the mind comprehends it to be. Anything is anything as long as the mind believes it so. For example, I believe now that meaningless means cow. Because I believe so, it is. Language is something taught, so make your own language and it becomes real because you relate it to something. Therefore, nothing is meaningless, BECAUSE I SAY SO...
