No, eating fast food once a week wont kill you...unless your food happens to be poisoned. The reason Morgan Spurlock became so sick was because he was eating only McDonald's.

All Morgan Spurlock did was point out the obvious while at the same time becoming very rich and famous. I'm more shocked at the fact that such information actually surprises people.
Jewpin, remember, we still have people sueing McDonalds because they got fat. Of course, that type of person should be released into the wild, so that they can learn how good they really had it. And of course, since in the wild it would be "survival of the fittest", they would most likely die within a month, if not faster. Of course, who wants those genes in the gene pool?

Yes. I visited three places in the US last summer. Las Vegas, San Jose, and LA. I was extremely shocked to find out that not only are the cup sizes ridiculously HUGE. But when you order a drink, they give you the cup and you fill it up yourself, not only that but you get unlimited refills. I live in a slightly smaller than average Canadian-size city. Like all other cities, streets are filled with Burger Kings, McDonalds, KFC, Wendy's etc... Guess what, out of all of the ones I've ever been to in my LIFE, only one of them has the whole 'unlimited refills' concept. (It was KFC if anyone was wondering..)
It's funny. My friends and I were hosting Japanese foreign exchange students , and it was our duty to show them what america was all about...so we took them to Super Wal-Mart. To start, they were in awe of the size of the building (which, I do have to admit, is freaking gigantic). After they got over the size of the store, they went to go check out the snacks were they compared the "average" size bags to chips as being "bigger than their heads." After that, we kind of lost site of them....10 minutes of searching, we found them in the fresh Deli section of Wal-Mart where they bought popcorn chicken. As a joke, I handed them a 3 foot long sub sandwich and asked them if they were hungry. All four of them (Mari, Yukari, Nozomi, and Chie) then proceeded to scream in terror at the sheer size of the sandwich. I even think Chie started to cry.

Towards the end of their homestay, Yukari kept saying how fat she felt.

      Man...I miss them so much.

Pssh. I have 3-5 "Fast Food" meals a week and I'm fine.

You just have to have a balance between that food and actually moving around afterwards. I walk about a mile and a half every day, so it balances out.

Though, I can lose weight just by sitting in my room somehow. Go me.

We had to do speeches for french class a while back. One girl did a speech about the fast food industry. Apparently up to what she researched, it would take 6 hours of constant running to burn off the calories you take in when eating a Big Mac.

I doubt that is exactly true, but you have to remember that you are already burning calories, and then there are the extra calories you burn from running, and so you have to look at which calories you are counting.

Average amount of calories burned by sitting on a couch for an entire day is 2000. An average tennis practice burns around 4000 calories. No surprise I am 6'1" and weigh 140.

You win. That means you can quit throwing up now.

You have to remember though, as an athlete, I should be much heavier due to muscle mass. I tend to stay away as much as possible from fast food; I can actually feel the after effects in my weight a few days after I consume some. I don't worry so much about the calories contained in fast food, as much as I do the amount of preservatives/other nastychemicals. This is why if I do eat some fast food, it's usually at In'N'Out. All you non-cali, non-gnarly dudes will have no idea what that is, but it's the best kind of fast food you will EVER come across. No preservatives are used, everything is grown/bought locally.

are we sure on the "no drive thru's in europe" statement? because I'm pretty sure I remember seeing one this last summer. Yeah, and those McDonald's sucked. You'd have to pay if you wanted more than 2 ketchup packets, no refills, everything was small. USA, USA, USA!!! Oh, and I probably eat fast food 6-7 times a week. I used to once or twice a day. I also was an athlete. but no more. and i have begun putting on some weight. But it's alright, I was always real skinny.
I'll trade you this delicious doorstop for your crummy old danish.

totally and completely blown out proportion. seriously.
who is going 2 eat MD 4 a whole month, brkfst, lunch, and dinnr?
and since he had 2 supersize everytime they asked, it was even worse!
they r supposed 2 supersize everytime a person orders so thats like 1/30 they would forget right?
especially since they have this big sign on the moniter that says ask the customer... DO YOU WANT 2 SUPERSIZE???
                      no1 would do that...seriously

Evidently, the meat in a single meat patty at McDonalds comes from 1000+ cows. That's an awful lot. O_o

Also, the fries never get moldy. Ever. They waited 10 weeks for various foods to mold/liquify, and although the normal burgers rotted fast and the McDonalds burgers rotted sorta fast, the fries looked brand new. Ich.

Thanks pal. Now we can wonder how old our fries are everytime we eat there.

If you go to Wendy's...the bottom of the fry container says they were made in 1993...I really hope the fries weren't too..but they're gross anyways. And no, this one isn't a scam.

Actually, we have alot of that in Canada too.

We have drive thrus, orders, whatever, you name it.

And even the local arcade has refills, all you need to buy is the cup, than drink as much Pepsi as can fit into you.
