If it was even then there would be no suspicion that Bush cheated at all. Why? Because they would have cheated the same amount. Bush either cheated more or was framed.

umm cheating happens, and it has nothing to do with being cynical, but rather being a realist. Look at how Nader got caught with over 75,000 forged signatures..... 75,000!!! And don't even get me started on the whole idea of smear campaigning and slandering. Basically what it comes down to is that the Republican Election Machine is much more infely tuned then the Democratic one, and they will continue to win these upcoming elections as long as they continue to control the airways and the catchphrases, and the soudnbytes, etcetera.

Umm, blah, you have it completely backwards. Everyone believed Kerry would win the 2004 elections because the Democrats have a strangle-hold on most of the media. The Democrats lost because their candidates sucked.

Rush Limbaugh. FOX News. Scott Hannery (sp?). Some "stranglehold". ABC, NBC, and CBS at least maintained and obviously tried to maintain a neutral stance. FOX blatantly twisted the facts.

It's BS to suggest that "everyone" believed Kerry would win because of the media. I didn't. No other Democrat or Republican I talked to ever made that suggestion seriously.

1) Not a CT thread. Move quickly, please.

2) Everybody cheats. The trick is to not get caught. There are probably thousands of ways the candidates cheat to gain votes that go unnoticed. I hate G.B. as well, but you can't just pin the blame on him. Gore conceded and Kerry lost. It's as easy as that.
