I'm talking about those pictures I see that say things like "This image is hosted by angelfire" or "This image is hosted by tripod" or "The system is down" stupid things like that which make no sense.

...Well, Angelfire and Tripod do not alllow remote linking, so instead, they replace the image with their logo to prevent leaching of their bandwidth.
