Isnt every one tired of the god damn KILLING or HATRED, PAIN, LIVES BEING TAKEN! ISNT THERE ANYONE ELSE THAT CONSIDERS ANTI DAMN WAR! Its like calling 911 FOR DAMN PEACE! Who wants to Die? For theyre damn GOVERNMENT! Same for killing!

I dont Belive this. War Is fucked up. I dont care. Damn humans are making stronger weapons to kill more people. Just to die in the end. As one part of the bible says "Peace on earth is like heaven" I completely damn agree.

Hmm....I believe it is "their" and not "theyre"...but I will not get into your grammatical errors and just go right ahead and state my opinion of this matter.

For the record, before I start, I would like to say I am all for peace. I wish with all my heart that war was not neccessary, but I understand that it is, and I am not going to waste my time whining about peace when there is nothing I personally can do about it. I am, however, going to waste my time explaining why war, in a sense, is a good and neccessary thing.
I was once like you, Kool Kid, I ranted and rattled my sabers....but in the end, what does that do? War is what gave you the right to rant and rave in the first place. The Revolution gave you America to begin with, otherwise we would all be under British rule....(which, I doubt would be THAT bad, but then, it was terrible) I would love to continue, but to be completely honest, I am shocked and quite angry at your comment, so I willl quickly wrap mine up, due to the fact that I would like to gather my thoughts and get them out in an oragnized fashion rather than get angry and yell and make hardly any sense like you demonstrated so beautifully. My apologies to everyone for cutting this short, but I suspect many of you would rather read a well-thought-out statement than useless rambling. I do admire your passion, Kool, but I seriously think you should evaluate the manner in which you convey your thoughts.

Hey, sometimes you've gotta stand up for what you believe and fight. People's deaths are an unfortunate side-effect of that, but that's why nations have militaries. As for people who'd die/kill for their country, there are a whole lot more than you think.

Agreed, aleco. War is inevitable, it doesn't happen in an obviously cyclic fashion but it will never cease to occur. I admire the people who are willing to fight for their beliefs and even more those who trust their superiors to send them into battle without question.

As for the weapons, I say that they are made to kill but they can be used to defend.

Ayanepuck is right. Peace is nice and all, but war is necessary for pretty much anything really serious to happen. Negotiations won't always work. If people are oppressed, and they all get together, do you really think the tyrant will care? It will take something such as a large scale revolt to get his attention.

What could have changed? America started it all....we beat England, so we werent a force to be wreckend with. If we didnt get our way, i dont think that the world would be as free as it is now, no one would have an example to follow.
You cant have complete peace, its just not possible. Its natural. Humans just take it up a notch. Everyday in the animal kingdom, wars are fought. A pack of wolves wants some of anothers territory, battle ensues, winner takes all. If a nation were to give up all of its military and war stuff, it would be overtaken for sure by someone. MAD keeps the peace now.(Mutual Assured Destruction, its a real term)

Peaceful, Jam? That would be horrific! Disease would run rampant slaughtering people left and right, if you got a cut you probably would not survive, you'd have no time for yourself, and when you do your group is battling the other ones. Life doesn't become peaceful, it becomes an eternal war that only ends when you lose- and this time it is literal. Oh yeah, and humans never ran around naked or used clubs on animals. In fact, clubs were never ever used on animals, only humans and in later eras. I call that the worst situation possible. It isn't peace and never was.

negotiations dont work. people require a serious possibility that they could die for them to listen and for some people it's the only way for them to stay true to their word.
