What are your current goals?

Now, I understand that there are many threads asking you about your current goals and resolutions, but I think it would be a better idea to take that a step further and keep them all updated in an opening post. We can celebrate our accomplishments together and hopefully encourage each other to make our wildest dreams come true! Feel free to post any sort of achievement or any updates about your progress. Any sort of step forward to your goals makes them worth approaching! (: I'll begin by posting my current goals in the next post! (:

My ultimate goal is to pursue graduate studies in pure mathematics and have a side career of performing music. My first steps when I get back in college are to apply for summer research positions in mathematics, join an a capella group, record a song for myself, and meet with my professor to work on research at the beginning of this semester.

- Start to wean myself off of the computer, because I spend too much time on it
- Get a girlfriend and more friends to hang out with (I have a lot, but I need more that I can call up on a weeknight to hang out with)
- Apply for scholarships for University
- Begin planning and set up a website I want to run
- Save money
- Get promoted at my job to Supervisor

1. Finish my Registered Nursing degree. Only 2 years to go til I graduate! Well, hopefully I do well this year (7 topics + hospital work), and next year should run smoothly with only 3 topics plus hospital placement to complete.

2. Find a part-time job. Been looking for...ever now. :\ Might focus on my studies first though, then find one when I graduate.

3. Compose -full- songs. I've done bits and pieces on my guitar, violin, and piano, but haven't finalised anything.

4. Travel the world.

I actually plan to do so at some point! (: I have written songs and recorded myself being silly and stuff (some people here can actually vouch for me haha) but they weren't serious. I'd like to be a little more serious in singing and hopefully pick up acoustic one day. What type of guitar do you play? If you play acoustic, is it hard to learn?
