    Good Live Trance?

Now that I'm 18 and counting, I've always wanted to go to a real trance venue. I really don't know whats available to me, how it works, how much it is, what it's like, etc.

If there's anyone who has experience with these kinds of things, I would love some information, how it was as an experience for you, and what you would recommend.

I like stuff like Tiesto, Italobrothers, Manian, Tune Up!, that whole genre.

If I made any kind of dumb statement/contradictions in this, dont laugh at me. Like I said, I'm not at all knowledgeable about this scene.

I think you're thinking of Euro Dance which is what Tune Up!, Manian, and Italiobrothers are. Used to listen to that shit all the time @_@. Anyway Tiesto's older stuff is Trance but his newer stuff is more pop. If you want a good trance venu Armin Van Buurin is pretty sick from what I hear. Deadmau5 might also be down your ally. As far as that eurodance goes, that stuff is really only big in Europe. Closest thing you could find is a Happy Hardcore Rave which involve a lot of heavy drug use.

Yeah I was going to put "Potential drug use" In my thread but I didnt want to look like a douche.
I was also thinking it was all eurodance as well. =/ Sad.
Although I heard Italobrothers toured in the US this year. Maybe they'll do it again.

Though Im also a sucker for Hardstyle, and Qlimax is looking really appealing right now.
      Anyone been there?

just because you enjoy the music doesnt mean you should avoid making the whole experience a shit ton better.

but really when it comes to live electronic music you cant really go wrong. just go see whatever is available in your area and then just start going to bigger shows. you'll discover a lot of great talent that you might not have discovered by just searching for music. dont bother waiting for your favourite artist to stop by because again you'd be missing out on a lot by not going to shows that dont have artists you recognize

Shows can range from 10-120 dollars depending on when you get your ticket and who's playing. Best way to find anything in your area is Google.

note that if you go to a big venue like an Armin Only event, you're going to walk out high anyways because of LoL cOnTaCt HiGhS

but yeah, just check out any shows that are happening around your area. you'll get accustomed to a standard show, so whenever you go to a massive (EDC, TaO, Audiotistic, etc), it'll be ever more mind-blowing
