Anyone else watching Sing-Off?

I've been addicted to this thing... Pentatonix and the Dartmouth Aires are absolutely beast.

Avi and Kevin are extremely good beatboxers and can pull off absurdly low levels of bass... they're techno beatboxers for sure.

This one's pretty awesome all-around. Kevin's beatboxing in this one is killer.

This one is just hilarious at the end with the multi-layered voice raises. Would make for a pretty hilarious stepfile lmfao.

Probably the best performance the other night... so insanely hard to pull off well. Michael owned it. 2:40+ is just amazing.

Edit: Actually, the dubstep breakdown and rearrangement and the end of the BS medley was even better, sexy stuff.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, watched most their performances. The guy's rough, scratchy voice, the girl's high voice, the other guy's falsetto and the beatbox / bass is such a beautiful amalgamation of sounds :')

I'm not really that much into acapellas. But Dartmouth Aires is the best I've heard so far. Pentatonix gives a song that begging feeling that it should be remixed with actual instruments and djs and really didn't catch on to me.

Hu-..Wha-... Pentatonix is just absolutely breathtaking. The bass has so much control over his notes, it's unbelievable. Repeated bass notes tend to lose the impact/energy after a few phrases, and if worst comes to worst, it goes flat (Carol of the Bells lol), but there were no such signs in either of those videos. Both Pentatonix and Dartmouth Aires have the music down. The phrasing, the syncopation, the attacks, the release, the blend - everything is wonderfully executed.

On a completely unrelated note, I sang with some Cantata singers the same song Afro-Blue performed (Put your records on). That song is so fun to sing :3

Kevin and Avi are just so insanely talented at this -- together, they're magnitudes above the competition and it's going to totally ruin the credibility of this show if Pentatonix doesn't win first place. They've been getting some pretty sick download rates on iTunes, as well.
