    Your Band's First Album

Saw this on Reddit earlier today and thought it was hilarious. It's crazy what combinations can be made. Reddit Link

Anyway this is how it works:
1 - Go to Wikipedia and Hit “Random Article” on the left. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to Random quotations Hit refresh, and the last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 - Use Photoshop, Paint, or similar to put it all together

Unfortunately I'm awful with any sort of image editing software so mine looks like crap but here's mine: Misa Sukkimensis

I think the problem was I didn't end up with a very good image. Anyway what other combinations do you guys end up with? It's awesomely hilarious.

If I had a dollar for every time I've done this...

        http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=102286

        Regardless, I still enjoy it.

        "Walrus - Just Recognize Them"
Some kind of late-90s adult contemporary / new age.

"Zaro - There Is No Other"
Industrial metal with a hint of blues.

"Live Steam - Fond of a Joke"
        Jimmy Buffett-esque country music.

Someone should seriously go revive that Band Name Game thread in the games forum.

Well those threads are old, I wasn't asking you to necro them, I'm just pointing out how many times this kind of thing has been done on FFR.
Also, some of the ones on Reddit are excellent, one looked like it could be a 30 Seconds to Mars album. (this one: http://i.imgur.com/apsMx.jpg )

Oh and here's another one because I'm bored and don't want to write my essay:

            "Bierman - Make A Decision"
The kind of music that happens when one of those 80s electronic rock bands makes a comeback in 2011. This album would have at least one Styx cover and at least one Journey cover, and another one from a modern pop artist like Taylor Swift just so that they sound relevant. One of the covers ends up getting heavy radio play for two weeks ("oh, hey, THESE guys are back!") and then it is completely forgotten. Mixed in with these covers are about five lackluster original songs and two that were recorded in 1991 but never released.

This could potentially be a good excersize with design, actually. Just give yourself a random subject to work with.
