you were just unlucky lmao. his wait was for a pair to complete his suu anko, which is the only way he can go out on a discarded tile from someone else. it also just so happens that going out on a discarded tile for the last pair to a suu anko is a double yakuman. otherwise, it probably just would've been a mangan.Comment

Holy crap, I wish I knew about this thread earlier.
I play against NPCs on gamedesign.jp (linked on the second page) and via Virtual Tenho-G on my phone. Connection's too bad to play live, usually. =(
I recently just started to go deeper into strategy and learn the terminology, but I've been playing Riichi Mahjong for several years now. I love it to death.
