Oh oops. Yeah I'll get on that then.

I'll post it tomorrow sometime as I'm about to go to sleep. If you're not comfortable building it yourself though, I'm worthless to you. Cyberpower is your best bet in that case. Just a note that it's extremely simple to build it yourself, and it's always the best option.

I can assemble it no problem. I'd rather put it together myself anyways instead of a company doing it for me.

cause' you can easily do it yourself for free, likely with better results.

I found something in your price range:

Case: Thermaltake V4 Black Edition ($39)

              Processor & Mobo combo: AMD Phenom ii x4 945 - GIGABYTE GA-880GA-UD3H ($201)

              Memory: Kingston HyperX 8gb ddr3 1600 ($55)

              PSU: Corsair Enthusiast tx750 v2 ($109)

Video Card: EVGA GTX 570 HD ($320)

              = $726.94 + S&H

That is actually a fine build. You could get away with downgrading the GPU if you really wanted to upgrade other things, as well.

Secks69's build is good, but lacks a hard drive (unless you plan on just using an existing one) and I am not a fan of AMD anything, so I would go with an intel board and throw in a sandy bridge i5. The amount that you can overclock a setup like that ensures that you can go quite a while before needing an upgrade.

That build certainly isn't the cheapest by any means, but its a damn good bang for your buck.

Awesome, although I'll still wait on Kiwi's build, just for the sake of options. ANd I don't think I would need too much space on the hardrive. My current PC is only around 230 gigs, I've used less than 100. I'm not a big memory user.

I definitely agree, but when going for a budget-build AMD is pretty much the way to go. The sandybridge CPU's overclock like a fucking dream.

Okay, so this is another setup you can try:

Case: Thermaltake V4 Black Edition ($39)

Processor: AMD Phenom ii x6 1055t

                          Memory: Corsair Vengeance 4gb ddr3 1600 ($29)

PSU: Antec NEO CEO 620 Watt ($60)

Video Card: EVGA GTX 560 Superclocked ($320)

SSD: Mushkin Enhanced Callisto 115GB ($180)

                          = $768.93 + S&H

AMD is a lot cheaper and from the OP, I doubt he's gonna OC.

DO NOT MIX AMD AND NVIDIA! (And don't mix INTEL and AMD either...)
If you're going to go for EVGA, go all EVGA and plug an INTEL core in to it. Do your research, read lots of reviews.

I highly doubt he's going to need an SSD...and those are still insanely expensive. You can get a 1TB internal hard disk for like 50 bucks. For a regular gaming rig the phenom x6 is probably overkill too, even if it's only the 1055.

As far as something that will play your games at max settings, you just want a really good video card, you can skimp out on everything else pretty much. Get a GTX570 at MINIMUM. If you feel like a boss go for the 580.

You could also opt to get a better motherboard that supports dual video cards (SLI) and plug a couple of gtx 460's in there. You can get 2 460's for the price of 1 570, and output more power from the pair of 460's than the single 570 card for sure.

Room for improvements here, feedback appreciated (I'm out of touch with these. You might want to have a more powerful graphics card or processor if you will, or cut corners with a cheaper casing)
I hear from a few people about the AMD/Nvidia compatibility thing so lets say I'll use the Nvidia/Intel route

                                ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                                Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.4GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor $189.99

                                Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 $49.99

EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB 1GB $139.99

                                Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive $59.99

                                CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W $109.99

COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2 CM690 II Advanced Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $89.99

                                $739.93 before shipping

-$20 for a DVD reader/burner which you can recycle from your old PC
