    Just Wondering

    After doing a quick forum browsing, I've noticed that several members are banned, is there any particular reason for this? I'm just taking a guess and saying it's because of the "new" rules.

      They aren't even "new" rules, they're just explained better.

          Several have been banned making "Free <this person>" threads. It's been a rule during the Tass Era.

                              The rules are being enforced (about time). People have become accustomed to a more immature state on the forums, and the fully explained guidelines outline what's not acceptable.

                              I'd say expect a few more bans from some of the regular users. A lot are fumed about some of the recent bans, and act out in a way that gets themselves banned (another reason for the bans).

                              FFR made a new definition, "Cyber Riot".

                                              What happened last night seemed like a result of people having a fit over the "new" sitewide rules that were posted last night, by Hammy.

                                              It's already fairly well known that Hammy was very strict to the rules and a huge storm of crap flew everywhere in that Cosplay thread. Oddly enough, none of the bans in that thread were by him...

                                              Every ban within that thread was more than justified, and there really shouldn't be anymore discussion about it.

                                                  If you post pornographic images, you get banned. I don't know what's so confusing about this. "Free <person>" threads are there because it's just forum spamming, not to mention trolling moderators. The "new" rules really just serve to clarify certain ambiguities. There's no concession saying, "mods can ban whoever olol."
