Strange Pets?

Have any of you wanted or had really strange pets in the past or currently? I used to take in snails as pets because for some reason I thought that they could grow up to be big enough to ride on like a horse. I wanted to use them for travelling for some reason, I don't remember why I thought that.

Well... I found a frog that had been randomly living in my room recently.

And, when I was younger, I used to eat snails.

i want a skunk as a pet so bad. i actually started doing research on what it takes to take care of a skunk then i found out that owning any exotic animal is illegal and that is when my heart sank

My housemate has a snake and a reptile licence. Marissa wants a spider, so i've been thinking about getting a rose tarantula for her for xmas when it rolls around :P

When I was a kid i kept bees in jars in my room purely cos my little brother was deadly allergic to them and it would keep him out of my junk ;D

You're not allowed to have a pet iguana? I had 2 of them growing up. Dad still has two of them, and a snake..pig..mini-pig..goat..etc
I like ferrets for pets, as well as tarantula's and OH MY ****ING GOD I WANT ANOTHER GOD DAMN CHINCHILLA. SO ****ING SOFT I COULD DIE HOLDING IT

Hmmm, I don't have any exotic pets but I work at a pet store so I've seen some pretty interesting things. Chinchillas btw, are so awesome.

I have a 17 year old Royal Ball Python I got when I was 7. I've always wanted a baby sloth.

I used to have Jackson's chameleons, Brazilian rainbow boa, emperor scorpions, an octopus, and a red tegu. (I worked at an exotic reptile shop go figure)


+tons of exotic salt water fish, a few birds, blue-belly lizards I caught.

Oh yeah, and a shark

I want a pet fox, a penguin, ferrets, and a KOALA. x3 Oh, and a panda. (I have bamboo in my backyard, which is what gave me the idea. xD)

My family used to have 4 parakeets (one for each person in the family) and we all got to name them ourselves . That was years ago though. Now we only have two annoying beagles. I would gladly replace them with a wolf or a fox.

This ^^^ plus a tiger and a lion....that doesn't want to eat me of course.
