    I don't know Nordic law, but I typically even the most mild countries have exceptions for massive crimes against the state like this. I read he faced life but hey, the internet is sometimes wrong.

      After I found out a old classmate and friend I grew up with were at the scene of the massacre and lost many of his friends (he survived) this got far more personal.

        IDK - it was the first thing I read about it and I'm still drunk from the weekend tbh so have no idea.

          He originally was given 1 years but the charges might be changed to attack on the humanity instead of terror, that will be 30 years, but still no lifetime x_x

                  He could be locked up indefinetly if the officials suspect that he is a threat to society after his 21-year term ends.
