tabloids aren't respected by a lot of people but they're very powerful at shaping public opinion as they can get away with spreading their lies and hate to their readers who care more about celebrities, and they then regurgitate that hate.

but news international also owns other papers like the times, a 'seemingly respectable' broadsheet, but one which follows the murdoch agenda closely, distorts the truth and just happens to have been hacking as well. news corporations papers in the US, wall street journal, new york post, are probably all like this too. edit: just read that all 120 papers of his across the world backed the iraq war o god.

If everyone wrapped their mobiles in aluminium foil, none of this would have happened. Just a thought.

        Don't worry it wasn't.

bump for a possible interesting twist

A former News of the World journalist who made phone-hacking allegations against the paper is found dead.

              another twist:
"A spokesman for Ms. Brooks said the bag belongs to Charlie Brooks. One of Mr. Brooks's friends was returning his bag, containing a computer, but left it in the parking garage by mistake, says David Wilson, a spokesman for Ms. Brooks. When Mr. Brooks went looking for the bag in the garage, security told him it had been found in the garbage and turned over to police, Mr. Wilson said. He said he didn't know how or why the security staff retrieved the bag from the garbage, or if the bag had ever been in the garbage in the first place."

the story iz that homeboy tries 2 ditch computer and shit for his wife (who "inexplicably died," correct? or was that another person?) comes back for it after his "friend misplaced it in the garbage"

              riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite.
