when playing stepmania/ffr/itg/ddr?

i read just above the receptors where i put my judgement gfx except when its jumpstream. when its jumpstream i read where the combo is at

I read just about where that 8th note is, so that I have time to register the patterns in my head and react before they reach the receptors.

that is so low.....i found out that the lower i read the lower my speed mod has to be. dont really get why

I focus on the blue and up when MA'ing, and about between the blue and yellow note when doing speed

Since I had a tendency to do this, distant worked out better.

FFR doesn't have distant so I just used a slower speedmod (and I've been sticking with 1.75)

The lower I read, the better I'm doing. If I get in a tight spot, my vision scootches closer to the top and it only causes more trouble.

Between the receptors and the middle area where combo is most of the time. For dense files in 4key or 6key I tend to read the very top. If I'm aiming for accuracy or MA, I usually read right in the middle. I almost never read from the bottom.

Blue = Comfortable to read
Green = I tend to view there alot and can read it too, but I mess up my combo/PA.

I totally thought this was about reading books. I read about 2cm from the receptors.
(Pretty much where Emithith reads.)
