Forbidden/error 403

I am, again, getting this while on my home network (ie from the same IP address). I have PM'd Synth before, with no response, but now the proxy I was using is also giving me the same message.

It'd be more hassle than it is worth to get another free web-based proxy that does the same thing and allows me to submit information, and I'm not going to always access everything through a proxy because it is really more trouble than it's worth.

I am (re)posting this because I cannot currently login from my home computer to recieve PMs. I can, however, view the site easily (just not login).

Again, I am wondering why I get this error, whether it be on purpose or something else. I am just trying to find out what is happening, and so far I haven't gotten any help.

Presumably Synth is the only one who could do or fix this problem, so I'm hoping he sees this, however I would appreciate it if anyone who is in contact with him could forward this to him. All I want is an answer. If I know that it is not a problem on the server-side, I can then begin to troubleshoot what is happening.

yeah but it is quite asshole-ish of synth to not come out and say that vxd is banned. because if he isnt banned then there is one bad bug or vxd has a problem with his computer that needs to be fixed...and if you couldnt tell he has been posting much less often and if he were banned he wouldnt waste his time getting proxy's just to post a few comments

Not really. When, in the past, has he ever expressly come out and said "So-and-so is hereby banned!"? Sometimes he'll make references to it, or threaten the person not to come back, but very rarely does he come out and say it.

well he could have answered vxds pms...no he doesnt have to publically announce it, but vxd has sent synth pms and has made two threads asking for an answer and hasnt got one in a few weeks now

yeah, like makaveli said, he could have at least told me that I was being banned in either PM, the thread the he posted in (but not at all in a helpful manor), or by e-mail, if not having the decency to say why I was being banned...

If you mean that the way I think you mean it then you better be joking, cause if not that's pretty funny.

Also, it's Synth's damn site. If he wants to ban someone and not explain why, he can, big deal, you don't have any say in it or any right to complain as I repeated it's HIS SITE.
