When you think about it, these stunts have to be carefully crafted, filmed and set up by professionals to minimize the risk of serious harm to the "jackasses" during the shenanigans they're famous for. They know how to fall from a great height, there's crews on hand if something goes wrong, etc.

In an uncontrolled environment like drinking and driving, though, the chance for something like this happening...well, I don't have statistics on me, but it's probably a lot more common. Still, it should be said, as with Steve Irwin, that he died as he lived, and I can't think of a better way to go.

I own the 1st CKY vid. Some of these guys used to come to the skatepark I went to/worked at most of my early life lol. I actually became manager there for a while before I moved away.

Am I the only one who thinks this is overdue? The entire cast of Jackass does some pretty dumb stuff that could get them killed all the time. It's shocking that they've gone this long without serious hospitalization or death.

Yeah, but this wasn't a stunt, it was an accident. I doubt that even members of the Jackass crew would perform stunts that involved them in a car traveling speeds of over 110mph - much less intoxicated.


Also, show some damn respect. If you have nothing good to say, you're probably better off just not saying anything at all...
