I love my parents to death no matter how annoying they can get sometimes because deep down my heart I know they are arguing with me because they care about me. I'd rather have overprotective (although they are not)o parents, than a parent who lets they kids do whatever the hell the want to do. I think the only reason I'm doing good at school and that I'm not addicted to drugs (because I've been in very harsh situations where I would've f*cked up if my parents didn't raise me the way I was) is because of my parents. love them both

Mine certainly disagree with me on some points (don't ever talk to them about nuclear power.) Of course I still love them. They've always been very supportive and have pushed me to do amazing things with "that brain of yours" which refers to the fact that my IQ is through the roof.
When I was a bit younger they got on my nerves. A lot. They weren't happy with my beating PKMN Emerald in a span of 48 hours. Or for that matter, pretty much any gamewhoring I do/did.

Literally your parents are the reason you're here, don't hate. They do what they do for a reason, though that reason may be wrong in your eyes just agree with them to avoid further confrontation.

I love both my parents, but my dad treats me as if I'm still 5 years old, and it's annoying.

I may not *like* my parents, at all. But that doesn't mean I still love them to death. They're my parents. Whether or not they've treated me "right", they are the reason I am who I am. They pushed me to do better then they ever did, and so, for that, I'm happy.
