Um, no pretty sure the NBA is 10 times more popular than hockey, but okay

Anyway, the Wizards will win in Cleveland. They aren't a bad team (well, they aren't an awful team). Their road losing streak is more of a result of not having Wall for an extended period of time. With him back, they are far better than the Cavs and should win. Then again, nothing is guaranteed.

I think it is more likely that Detroit goes in to Cleveland and loses this week. Maybe the Clippers too if they decide not to show up.

popularity only means more money, it doesn't mean a better game. though this is completely subjective.


I'd rather watch a game where it's highly climactic, easily turned around and full of hard hitting action.

any sport can be climactic, because any game can come down to the closing seconds. if your team wins or loses by a point, every single goal/basket/etc. to that point was crucial. this idea holds true whether the final score is 3-2 or 108-107.

that said, I'm not a huge nba fan. (american) football entertains me the most, but I'll watch whatever's on.

Dude, I used to play Quiz Bowl. Even when I moved in the middle of 10th grade, the destination school got me playing for them by the end of the year. Ended up going to the 2002 and '03 Michigan state championship tournaments in my last two years. I was pretty solid, but there were a few teams that we could never beat during my stay, including Hartland and Country Day. I will never forgive the Port Huron asshole that stalled us out in the closing seconds, but I take some solace in the fact that we made such a rally in the second half of a game the next year that Catholic Central was forced to call time-out.

Going back to the original topic, Cleveland was never any good. King James was carrying the entire team on his back during those "glory days", and now that he's left for greener pastures, they're starting to pay the piper.
