I hope the battery is replaceable, I'll order a second battery if so. Looking forward to running 3D applications and Photoshop on it.

Probably won't look as smooth as Android or iOS tablets simply because it's W7, but the sheer functionality will more than make up for that.

This paired with a $500 laptop can do the same thing for a lot less, but with a little bit less portability. That Asus thing is a waste of money in my opinion... And only 3 hr battery life, this is definitely something I wouldn't buy even if I had the money for it.

As someone who uses a Wacom tablet on a daily basis, I can tell you right now it is NOT the same at all.

To each their own, this is great for productivity, and will likely suit my needs pretty well. The battery life is a bit of an issue though, as it usually takes me around 3-4 hours to draw anything worth-while.

About 6 months ago I used the wacom tablet that I posted on a daily basis. The price, battery life, and the fact that nobody has yet said what kind of graphics card/chipset the asus tablet has pretty much rules out any chance of me buying it because I personally need all of those things (especially the graphics card) to be happy with what I am using.

The price, battery life, and the fact that nobody has yet said what kind of graphics card/chipset the asus tablet has pretty much rules out any chance of me buying it because I personally need all of those things (especially the graphics card) to be happy with what I am using.

I'm guessing it's the i5 470UM's integrated GPU.

Pretty cool although for anything but drawing, or if you need/want something more portable than a laptop, it's not really a great idea to buy it IMO.

It will run a very large handful of games. It might not be fit for Crysis or anything, but those are some damn decent specs for a graphics card the size of your thumbnail.

Hmmmmmm, are you sure? I'm pretty sure that only the other two new ASUS tablets use the Tegra 2, since it's a processor AND a video card. It would be a huge waste to put it in the Eee slate and then use an i5.
