Right.

In an attempt to gather highschool runners to one place to discuss what they like to do, I made this site.

However, I feel you are wrong in saying that it is cliche. Simply because there are other communities similar to this one doesn't make my site pointless.

I searched extensively and I found that some of the larger running forums had very little to no activity. I hope to breakt hat trend among running forums.

Everyone starts somewhere. Perhaps this isn't my thing. Regardless of how faceless my site is presently, I feel that, over time, we can accumulate members and eventually get some sort of community going.

I didn't proofread this post so it might have alot of mistakes.

Really, it's nothing against you or your forums. It's just that over and over again you see these new forums with big expectations for it, and time and time again people lose intrest and it dies. Arch0wl's forums are the one exception, and that's only because he started the whole "omg let's make our own forums" trend.

Thanks for your understanding. I bought this domain mainly to host my dad's pictures.

Oh well. I'm gonna keep it up for a while and see how it goes. If nothing happens, I'll think of some other site

Not making forums in itself, but you know that as soon as Arch put his up, then Moogy made his, Bean made his, D'man made his, etc etc...my point really was that his was the only one that's not dead yet.
