    Laptop suggestions.

I will be getting $600-$700 soon and I plan on getting a laptop.

Obviously my price range is $600-$700. And my main concern is screen size, no lower than 15' please. I dont really know much about laptops so what do you guys suggest?

15 inch laptops are pretty good these days. Right about in the mid range as far as performance and price are concerned.

Do you need a laptop for school? Are you planning on just taking notes with it? If so, save your money and get a netbook.

Planning on using it for gaming? Don't be a dumbass, and build a desktop. Can build a rather good desktop for about that much, and it will give you quintuple the performance.

"Oh, just my cock." Replied Foil.
"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
            "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.

I plan on using it for like photoshop, FL, FFR, and pretty much casual usage. But its the portability I want. So no desktops.

Good. I can't tell you how angry I get when people shell out for 'gaming' laptops.

I searched around for a couple minutes and found this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834115871
Which seems pretty nice for your price range. Normally the best processor you'll find in a notebook in that range is like an i3 370m or whatever they called the mobile version.

(Someone who knows things about laptops, is Acer any good ?_? I kind of distance myself from them so I'm not sure.)

Netbooks are pretty much all the same. My only advice is stay away from HP and Dell (if they make netbooks).

                      They do.

Other choices from BestBuy.com are Toshiba, Asus, Levono, and Samsung.
