kind of hard to keep a steady hand when you don't have a stand...

Yup, exactly my problem when taking night shots. Except I do have a flexi-tripod. I tried to attach it to the pole of a street sign but it wouldn't stick. :/

I did manage to get a few near-perfect shots, but most of them showed moon multiples due to my submillimeter-movements.

I had a real hard time getting a picture of the full eclipse because I was relying on my arms. I ended giving up because all the shots I took were blurry.
