Can someone with Valedictorian honors transfer their Valedictorian status from a community college to a college/university? I got into a discussion with my lil bro who graduated with top honors from his high school this past May with a graduating class of <100 (small school of an enrollment of no more than 250 - it's private, but a public school).

I attended the same school for two years after I transferred from my main high school after two years.

edit: There are larger high schools in the area. This high school is more one-on-one with the student-teacher. Average class size is never more than 15. 5 at the least.

I'm not sure what you mean by "status" but I imagine it would depend entirely on how the transfer credits work. In general, when you transfer from a community college to another college or university in the same state, they take the grades from your community college and put them into your new GPA at your new college or university. If, by the end of that program, you achieve Summa Cum Laude or any other honors, you'll get them like any other student. I don't think any special honors will come over with you because you're basically starting a new program.
