Agreed. If she's gonna **** around and piss and moan just agree with her sarcastic bull**** and claim that the professor does like you better, and that maybe she should try harder. Honestly people take things to seriously these days someone's gonna end up with a hernia or a heart-attack from all the stress they put on themselves.
Edit: Also I thought this whole thing was pretty tame, no need for a confrontation just relax.
On the other hand the dude that ~kitty~ was talking about is just what I like to call an "excusor," basically a person who needs to formulate an excuse for everything because he realizes he screwed up and probably when taking the class doesn't really give a damn in the first place. Hence I find that if I ever do bad, it's generally my fault (minus maybe two horrid teachers from high school).
EnR's advice is the best. But then again, you don't seem like the mean kind at all, Rubin. I wonder how things went today with you two, haha. I always competed with my brother because we were only a year apart in high school (he was in 11th, I was in 12th). But he pretty much always beat me at everything, just cause I stopped caring about grades.
I wish that getting good grades meant people would be more intelligent in life...nope. She's supposed to be a psych major? She needs to rethink that judging by this conversation with her.
I find that being book smart =/= being actually smart. You can have a good memory but not truly be able to explain the concept of something. Plus many people have no social skills or common sense. Your attitude in life will determine your successes I have found.
