IT'S MY 18th BIRTHDAY

I've been waiting for this one for a while.
I am now eighteen. Legal. Single. Able to do what I couldn't do legally.
It's so weird to think that I've been agonizing the past two years to be eighteen- but for what reason? Is it really worth it to get this much older? Why couldn't I enjoy being seventeen for a little bit longer?

You should tell some of your thoughts about turning older. What do you regret? Are you excited about getting older?

I'm 18. Will be 19 in April. When I was younger I always thought man, being 18 would be so cool. But now I think.... wth was I THINKING??? Growing up SUCKS. I don't want to get any older >.>

I just can't wait until I'm like in my 70's and don't give a **** about anything anymore, haha. 18 isn't everything people make it up to be. 21 is definitely what I'm waiting for. Less than a year left before I no longer have to go through the hassle of having my friends buy me booze.

I can't wait to be a crazy old lady. I mean, I want to live life and all but I just can't stand seeing old people now and thinking that they have all just gotten old and wrinkly and aren't living life as much as they could be. I want to dye my hair in rainbows, hit people with a cane and creep out teenagers in the supermarket. It sounds like fun!
21 isn't as important to me since I don't care about drinking. But I do really hate how all the cool shows in town are at venues that are 21+ only :/

The U.S. is just plain ridiculous about its ages of consent and drinking ages. In my state the age of consent is 18 when it's usually 16 in most other states. and no, you're too far away to **** and I have enough people handy. ;]

I never really liked the thought of being 18, but now that I am it's not a big deal. You can be 70 years old and still act like you're 16, haha.
