    Cosplay weapon secrets? :>

Anyone here actually cosplay? Not the cheating kind of cosplay where you just buy a costum and hurrdurr into a con but real cosplayers? If there are, any of you guys wanna share some weapon making secrets?
I was attempting to make Jo's (Burst Angel) deagles out of wood; those are coming along fairly well. I, however, also wanted to make Hei's (Darker than Black) crazy throwan knives but don't know how to go about that; what's the best material to use so that the end result actually looks like a sharp knife? All of this has to be alright under Ohayocon rules if you do have helpful hints. :>
Anyone have any other projects they'd like to share?

I've never cosplayed, but having a copy of hei's daggers would be very cool. That weapon is probably one of my favorites out of everything I have seen.

Just googling it I found this.

I was commissioned to make 2 replicas of the daggers that Hei uses in the anime series Darker than Black Since I was making 2 of these and t...

I'd pay money for something like that.

Wow! That looks amazing but also extremely time consuming and error prone... Ah well, the great outcome is worth it! Thank you for bringing that up.
