Re: Experiment
I was having a problem with my application for awhile. Every URL request it was adding on resource usage so after about 200,000 URL's it was using around 2 gigs of my ram. I fixed this and now it is running smoothly counting down by user ID.Comment

Re: Experiment

Ok so I got it working for real this time. It was having a lot of issues with iterating to fast through the webpages and not activating the thumbs up, but if i made it wait until the page finished then I got some strange script errors do to url redirection.
I set it to use timers and the fastest I was able to set it to while still activating the thumbs up was 100 ms per URL which is 10 thumbs up per second.
At this rate counting down from 1.7 million it will take 47 hours. -_-;Comment

Re: Experiment
It is going to send them a thumbs up regardless of them being online or not. It is sending a thumbs up to every registered account that was ever registered on the site.Originally posted by DotKriticIt would require everyone to log in to their alts.
Good luck XD
Edit: Next I should send a friend request to everyone.Last edited by Izzy; 10-26-2010, 10:45 PM.Comment

Re: Experiment
I read your post wrong. I thought you were saying for everyone (1.7 mil) to give YOU a thumbs up; not for you to give US a thumbs up.Comment
