This has been really bothering me.

I saw this movie I don't know how long ago and I can't think of what it is.

All I remember is that there was some huge nasa experiment or some other space organization who built some giant gyroscope with a metal spherical capsule in the middle of it. There was some women who was supposed to sit inside of it and then they would turn on the gyroscope. After it was over she claimed to have visited some other dimension or something and no one believed her.

Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about or did this movie never actually exist and it was just a dream?

Yeah, it is really Contact. I saw it some years agos, and found the story just amazing. I miss this movie. =\

I don't know. That would be a ridiculous test of my brain. I'm not sure if I would still believe it or not. The whole concept of false memories comes into play and if everyone told me that it couldn't have happened then who knows.

The movie really shows a lot of very interesting concepts and different view points of faith and our understanding of things.
